Dress and Hat.

This may be Sadie's birthday dress....or I might break down and make a smocked one for her. I bought this fabric so long ago with this dress in mind, it feels good to finally have it done. This is the same pattern I used for her Valentine's dress. I made this one with short sleeves and no pockets on the apron (you hardly noticed the pocket because it blended in). I love these two fabrics together.

More Smocking

I used this fabric to practice the trelis 2 step before I made Elizabeth's dress. After I finished that dress, I finished this one. I also made pantaloons instead of a regular diaper cover since Sadie might wear this for Easter and Easter is so early this year. March is still winter in Michigan.

Elizabeth's Dress

This dress is for Elizabeth. I used a trellis 2 step pattern with different colors. I also made this more of an empire waist (compared to Sadie's). I think it turned out really good, and my smocking is much improved (I've been practicing).
