Third Time...

Using this pattern. I think this is my favorite one with it. I added a little shape to the bottom (which you can't really see in the pic though). I'm really loving my overlock machine lately as you can tell on the sleeves.

Full Size Quilt

Actually, I think it's more like a twin size ? I have been working on this for about a month now. This is the first quilt that I hand tied. I want to make a queen sized one for our bed, and I thought I would attempt a smaller size before I tackled one that size.

Boppy Pillow and Cover

This is also for Melissa's little guy, it matches the quilt for him.

Dress for Sadie

Not that the girl is hurting for clothes or anything... I saw a dress like this with the panels that get wider to create a flare. I figured I could do that. This is fabric from a top I was making for me that wasn't working out. I know I've been posting a lot of stuff lately, but don't worry my family is not being neglected. It's mostly done after the kids go to bed or on Jeremiah's days off.

Another Baby Quilt

This is for our neighbors who have a baby girl just 3 weeks younger than Sadie. I've been working on it for awhile. I actually redid the quilt top because the first color scheme I used just did not look good. I cheated and used pre-quilted fabric, but that actually worked out great because I would not of been able to use eyelet fabric with regular batting.

Baby Quilt

This is a quilt for Melissa's little guy who is due in November. She picked out the fabric so at least I don't have to worry about her not liking it.

Shirt

I used the same pattern to make this shirt as the previous one, just a different view. I've had the fabric for awhile. I need to take the sides in a bit though.

Matching Dresses

These are dresses for Melissa's girls. We cut out the patterns several months ago as they were supposed to be for Easter, but then I ended up on bedrest so they go postponed. We used Simplicity 4712 for the smaller dress, and McCalls 2590 for the larger.

Blouse

I like this shirt, but I'm not sure I like it on me. I also don't like the straight bottom. It needs some scalloping, or shape to it. The material was only $1 a yard though, so it was good practice using the pattern which I do like (Simplicity 3732).

Another Headband

I feel silly putting these headbands on here since making them only involves sewing a small piece of elastic. However, people always think their cute so I figured my readers might be interested.

Headband

I didn't plan on posting this headband, but it got several comments at church today so I thought my blog readers might like to see it. All I did was buy the ribbon (you buy it by the yard), cut it so it was a little smaller then her head and add some elastic.

Top

I love this top, and I spent less then $3.00 to make it! No kidding, the material was a buck a yard and I probably used about 1.50 worth of elastic thread.

Burp Clothes

These can be burp clothes or washclothes. Knowing Sadie, they will be burp clothes! I'm going to give two to our neighbors for their new little baby girl.
