Skirt

I need some winter weight skirts so I picked up this gray tweed looking fabric (It's actually lightweight flannel ). I decided to make my own pattern so it would fit me exactly how I wanted. The fabric has a real "business suit" look to it, and I wanted to make sure it didn't look like a suit. I wanted it to be fitted though the hips, then flare out. The skirt turned out exactly how I wanted.

I was actually starting to walk away here when Elijah finally took the picture, but I think this picture catches the shape of the skirt best.

Canopy

We were recently given a canopy bed without the canopy so I made one. At first, I was going to gather all the fabric, but then I decided to buy the pre-gathered eyelet lace. It saved a lot of time!

Dresses for Sadie

No, these are not the dresses that grandpa sent money for. I've been working on these for awhile. They are both baby cord which I love working with.

This first dress might be my favorite dress that I've made for her yet.

Jacket and Hat for Sadie

Cool weather is almost here, and Sadie needed a Fall/Spring jacket. I found this cute pink boucle fabric 50% off and thought it would be perfect.
