Valance

Sam picked out the Superman material for this valance for his and Jonah's room. It only cost $2.00 so it won't be a big deal to replace when he tires of Supeman. I added a simple lining. Posted by Picasa

Crib Sheet for Pack n Play

I saw intructions online for making a crib sheet (or any size sheet really). It was so simple I thought I would try. It was pretty easy to do, although there are a few things I would do different next time. I think the material with the little dogs is so cute. Posted by Picasa

Pants

I saw this simplicity pattern, and figured I could create something similar (the full pants, not the goucho pants). I'm still debating about putting buttons on like the pattern. There is a side zipper. I really like these pants, and had a really hard time getting a good picture. These best part is they cost about 3.00 to make.

So, what do you think? Buttons or no? Oh, and I want to add that pucker is just a wrinkle, there is not a mistake there.Posted by Picasa

Dress

The pattern says this is size 24 months, but judging by the fact that it fit Sammy (don't tell Jeremiah) I would say it's more like a 3T. I used this pattern, but tweaked it a little. The back has criss-crossing straps (the pattern makes it a little hard to see in the picture). I made this mostly for fun, so if anybody has use for it just let me know. Posted by Picasa

Sewing Organizer

I really needed to get my sewing things more organized. In fact, I could use one or two more of these!(I want to add that it's really not crooked, the elastic band is pulling it in a bit there) Posted by Picasa

Throw Pillows

A couple months ago, JoAnn Fabrics had discontinued home decorating samples for fifty cents a piece. There was a sign that said they made great throw pillows and I thought it was a good idea. They look nice with the new slipcover. Posted by Picasa

Slipcovers

Jo Ann Fabrics had home decorating fabrics 50% off this weekend, so I decided it was a perfect time to make the slipcovers. I worked on these all day long. I will probably be seeing yellow fabric in my sleep tonight. The far away pictures don't really show how pretty the fabric is, so I did the close up shot.
