Display Quilt

I was thinking of more ways to decorate all the bare walls we still have and I thought of a quilt. I always see small quilts that are made for display instead of blankets. Not too long ago, I really had no interest in quilting. I still don't like the tedious work of the actual quilting, but I found that I love the part of putting the quilt tops together. I love how you make a pattern with a couple blocks, then when the quilt is done you can see all kinds of other patterns in it. I have been wanting to try something a little more complicated than simple blocks. The best part is I FINALLY can do the binding right!

That's awesome. I think Peg's office has a quilt on the wall, doesn't it?

Love the colors! And the best part is that as a display, you'll get to enjoy the beauty of your project along with the satisfaction of your hard work!

This just showed up in my Bloglines for some reason. It's gorgeous! I agree with you...the piecing part is fun, the quilting part...not so much.
