I saw this map of the world panel and decided it would be nice to hang on the boy's wall. I decided to quilt it first. How else would one quilt a map of the world but to follow the latitude and longitude lines? One edge didn't come out even which bothers me, but not enough to make me fix it LOL
btw...I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your sewing blog so much. Your enthusiasm for sewing is such an inspiration. And I love sharing your projects with my daughter, Madison, too. She loves sewing, and she's quite impressed with all you've done.
My sewing goal for tomorrow is to get 4 skirts cut out. Just in case you'd like to hold me "accountable"!

I want to clarify that I simply followed the latitude and longitude lines on the map, I didn't add them myself.
