Capri Outfit

Making some progress on my backlog here! I saw an outfit similar to this in the store. I bought a white t-shirt for $2.50, made the pants, and embellished the shirt.

I actually made this dress from a skirt that somebody gave me. You can't beat that price!

Outfit

I have been so busy sewing lately, I actually have a backlog of things to post here!
I love this outfit! The fabric has little dragonflys on it. A couple years ago I cut out a dress pattern with this fabric, but never made the dress, so I was happy the pieces were big enough to make the shirt and ruffles.

Victorian Costume.

I'm helping sew for the homeschool play again. This Spring they are doing a musical set in Victorian England. There was so much gathering on this dress, it makes wonder if the Victorian dressmakers had special tricks for gathering fabric! I swear sometimes I was sewing through an inch of gathered fabric.
