Diaper Bag

I used McCall's M5067 to make this bag. It was fun choosing what material to mix and match. I used stuff from my huge bin of material so all I bought were the handles. I added extra pockets on the inside as I want to use it for a diaper bag. 

Capris

I made these drawstring capris using the leftover linen material from the boy's last years Easter pants. I shortened the pattern, but they still came out a bit too long (story of my life.) I'm happy with them, and they are very comfortable. 

The skirt that shall never be.

Here is the skirt I was working on yesterday. However, I am not going to finish it. I do not like the style on me at all so I am not going to waste a zipper on it. I will take it apart and use the material for something else.

The style is designed to sit one inch under the waist. I found this style is not meant for somebody as short as me!

It was nice to get behind the sewing machine though :D
