Sam's Easter Outfit.

I used Butterick B6894 to make this. I have had the pattern for a long time, and was actually surprised that Butterick still had in on their website. The seersucker material I actually bought three years ago to make Easter outfits for Isaac and Elijah but never did. The shorts have pockets, creases and a zip fly. The jacket is unlined with front pockets and buttons.

I am teaching myself to sew...and I love it. I've got a basic Brother sewing machine I've seen, with a Singer book ("1100 pictures") and did my first zipper last week (thanks to the full color pictures I looked at over and over and over...haha!). I'm really going to have fun, I can tell (especially after I learn to decipher a lot of things). :)

I love the things I've seen on here. You do a great job!
